14 YEAR-OLD DIES IN BIKE CRASH
Few details have been made public in the crash that killed a Swanton teen on Friday evening in Highgate.
The accident occurred on Vermont Route 7, north of Highgate Springs Village around 5:15pm, police said.
14-year-old Christian Regan, who was on a bicycle at the time of the crash was pronounced dead at scene.
According to State Police, Gage Bouchard, 22, of Highgate was driving the 2002 Ford Escape when the crash happened.
Police did not elaborate on how the crash happened but did say that there was damage to the passenger side door of the Ford Escape.
Police are still conducting an investigation and did not say if Bouchard or anybody else would be charged in connection with the incident.
