Regan was in the eighth-grade at Missisquoi Valley Union High School. He was also a member of the local Future Farmers of America, according to his obituary.

Police have not charged anyone in the fatal crash, but according to police Gage Bouchard, 22, of Highgate was driving the 2002 Ford Escape that crashed into Regan. The family could potentially hire a law firm such as GJEL Accident Attorneys as they take on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases to potentially (and unfortunately) claim compensation if they wished to.

The family has set up a gofundme page to help with funeral expenses. You can visit that page here.

The accident occurred on Vermont Route 7, north of Highgate Springs Village around 5:15pm on Friday, police said.

14-year-old Christian Regan, who was on a bicycle at the time of the crash was pronounced dead at scene.

Police did not elaborate on how the crash happened but did say that there was damage to the passenger side door of the Ford Escape.
