STOP SIGN VIOLATION LEADS TO ARREST

A Swanton man was arrested by Franklin County Sheriff’s Department Sunday afternoon after running a stop sign.

According to a press release, Taylor Raymond was driving with a criminally suspended license.

His vehicle also was not registered or insured according to police.

Raymond also had two sets of conditions of release, police said, that prevents him from driving any motor vehicles.

Police issued Raymond a ticket for the registration and insurance infractions, but he’ll still have to appear in Franklin County Court on October 17th to answer to the charge of driving with a criminally suspended license.
