BELLOWS FALLS OUSTS MISSISQUOI IN TITLE GAME

The top-seeded Terriers of Bellows Fall were too much for the Thunderbirds on Saturday in the DIII Field Hockey Championship game at UVM on Saturday.

Bellows Falls played a full season without a loss, all against DI and DII teams.

Reaghan Baldasaro, Dani Marchica, Molly Kelly and Sophia Hyslop each scored for the Terriers in their 4-0 Championship win.

Missisquoi’s Mikayla Hull made 10 saves, while Bellows Falls’ Emma Lober picked off three.

Missisquoi had six corners, to the Terriers’ 16.

The third-seeded Missisquoi Thunderbirds knocked out second-seeded Lyndon on Wednesday to advance to the Championship.
