Chrystal Ahl, 37, of St. Albans, allegedly stole merchandise from the Hannaford Supermarket near the University Mall in South Burlington just after 9am on Wednesday. According to the police, the merchandise was recovered; its value was around $63.

If the allegations of driving with a suspended license are true, it means that Sweet still hasn’t learned how to break the law and get away scot-free, even with plenty of practice. He has convictions on numerous charges over the years including Burglary, False Pretenses, Violations of Conditions of Release, Petit Larceny, Possession of Stolen Property, Resisting Arrest, Simple Assault and Driving with a Suspended License.

Sweet is currently being monitored by the Department of Probation and Parole in St. Albans; it is unclear at this time if the new charged will lead to a violation from the corrections department.

According to police, Sweet and Ahl will be due in Chittenden County Court next month to answer to their charges.
