Todd Bonyea appears in his mug shot provided by St. Albans Police on October 28th, 2019.

ST. ALBANS: According to St. Albans Police Chief Gary Taylor, a call came into their department Saturday evening, complaining that there was a person occupying a home that should have been vacant.

That home, located at 10 Adams Street in the City, was searched by police, and about two pounds of marijuana was discovered inside the home.

Also found inside the home, hiding, was 39 year-old St. Albans resident Todd Bonyea.

According to Taylor, police found Bonyea hiding in a crawlspace withing the home.

Bonyea was held on $10,000 bail. His arraignment is scheduled for later today.

He is facing charges of Possession of Marijuana (felony) and Violation of Conditions of Release.

This is far from the first time Bonyea has found himself in trouble with the law. A case is currently pending from May of 2018, accusing Bonyea of heroin trafficking, and possession of cocaine. In that case, Bonyea is accused of being in possession of 181 bags of heroin and one ounce of crack cocaine.

He also has other cases that date back at least as far as 2012.
