RICHFORD: Robert W. Britch Sr. passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2020, at his home in Richford.
He was born in Winchester, CT on December 24, 1953, the son of the late Clifton Britch and Autumn Rose Woods.
Robert grew up in Bakersfield and worked for over 25 years at Superior Technical Ceramics. He was always a dedicated worker and did whatever he could to provide for his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, selling vegetables at Farmers’ Markets, but most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his laid back, happy personality.
He is survived by his daughter, Robbi-Ann Britch of Fairfax; son, Robert Britch Jr. and his fiancé Nicole Bergeron of St. Albans; grandchildren, Alexis Hodgdon, Gavin Britch, Sadie Britch, Ashley Britch-Robtoy, Cody Morgan, Kevin Morgan, Keegan Britch, and Makenzie Cleveland; brothers, Clifton Britch and his wife Emily, and Tom Britch; sisters, Patty Edgerly and her husband Floyd, Jackie Britch and her husband Jeff, and Cindy Flanders and her husband Tom; sisters-in-law, Barbara Pynduss, and Sue Reed; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Cathy Frye, Mary Robinson, and Mike Bovat.
Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by his wife, Linda (Reed) Britch, companion, Joyce Cook; brother, Billy Britch; and a very special pet, Nola.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of Robert’s family at a later date.
