Bethanie Rose Therrien

EAST BERKSHIRE– Bethanie Rose Therrien, age 22, passed away tragically on Friday, September 10, 2021.

She was born in Newport Richy, Florida, on May 11, 1999, to Samuel Therrien and Amanda (Zweeres) Phillips.

Bethanie grew up in Hudson, Florida and graduated in from Hudson High School in 2017. From a young age she won hearts over with her light up the room smile and huge dimples. Her bubbly personality attracted countless friends who she genuinely loved being around. She loved all things Disney and cherished her trips there— it was like her home away from home. She had a zest for life and was ready to take the world by storm. Bethanie made the decision to move to Vermont after graduation once falling in love with the area and quickly adapted to life a as country girl. She was a strong, protective sister and loved her friends and family above anything else. Bethanie will be remembered for her infectious laugh and her love of life.

She is survived by her parents, Amanda Phillips and her husband Todd of Hudson, FL, and Sam Therrien and his fiancé Heather Cogley of East Berkshire; boyfriend and love of her life, Ryan Chase of East Berkshire; siblings, Hailey Therrien, Thomas Gaydos, Nathan Zweeres, Seth Philips, Todd Hayes all of Hudson, FL, Dianna Therrien, and Rikki Therrien both of East Berkshire; grandmothers, Kathleen Zweeres of Hudson, FL, and Mary Therrien of Berkshire; nephews, Camdyn Brooker, and Jerimiah Walker; her four-legged companion, Ollie; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Jeffrey Zweeres, and Elwin Therrien.

Family and friends are invited to Bethanie’s Life Celebration events to include visitation on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 12-1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM at Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickenson, Ave., Enosburg Falls VT 05450.
