Jerry Raymond

ST. ALBANS: Jerry Raymond passed away peacefully at his home on May 4, 2022. He was 72 years old. 

Jerry was born in Cambridge, Vermont, on April 11, 1950 the son of Gerald and Marion (Taylor) Raymond. He married Sharon Maxham on February 27, 1971. They were married for 51 years.

Jerry grew up in the Swanton and Highgate areas. He attended the Highgate High School.

Jerry enjoyed gambling, fishing, hunting, dancing, telling jokes, smoking weed, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He always enjoyed family time. 

Jerry is survived by his wife Sharon, his son Jason Raymond of St. Albans and his daughter Anne (Raymond) Button of Berkshire; his grandchildren Jaylin Raymond, Cerenity and Alex Raymond, Kole and Megan Gazaille, Amber and Hayley Cooper, and great-grandson, Peyton. He is also survived by his sister and brothers Ila Bourdeau and her husband Danny Bourdeau, Diane Robtoy and her spouse Paul Burlson, Kevin and Theresa Raymond, Danny and Debbie Raymond; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his fur buddy, Nyla, who he enjoyed taking for rides on his power scooter.

Besides his parents, Jerry is predeceased by his son, Jeremy Raymond, in October 2018 of St. Albans.

Family and friends gathered together, early in March, to celebrate with Jerry and share stories and experiences of enjoying him as part of our lives. Per Jerry’s request, there will be no further services.
