LOST HIKER FOUND SAFE
A teen from Eden spent much of Tuesday evening on the side of Mount Mansfield, according to police.
Kris Boutin, 19, of Eden was reported missing by his family after he did not return from a hike in Smugglers’ Notch on Tuesday Night.
A search which included members of Stowe Mountain Rescue found the teen lost, at the top of a steep cliff, without a flashlight.
The rescue crew guided Boutin back down the mountain, according to police.
No tickets were issued to the missing hiker, according to a press release on Wednesday.
