FLETCHER: Stuart F. Riley, age 84, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016, at his home in Fletcher with his faithful dog, Teddy Bear, at his side.
He had worked in construction, driving truck and operating heavy equipment until his retirement.

He was born in East Franklin, son of the late Fay and Vera Riley. He is survived by his two daughters, Linda and husband Gary of Dummerston, Debbie and husband David of Ocoee, FL; daughter-in-law Cecile of Brattleboro; five grandchildren five great-grandchildren; sister Dorcas and husband Roger of Berkshire and close friend Dorothy of NH.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son Larry, December 12, 2016, of Brattleboro.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Franklin County Animal Rescue, 30 Sunset Meadows, St. Albans, VT, 05478. Online condolences may be sent to his family at www.awrfh.com. Burial will be later in, Hyde Park, at the convenience of the family.
