Albert “Mina” Roy Jr.

ENOSBURG FALLS – Albert “Mina” Roy Jr., age 90, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 6, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Richford on February 9, 1929 the son of late Albert Sr. and Valada (Dragon) Roy. 

Mina grew up in Enosburg and at a very young age began working at local dairy farms. He had a large skill set and a tremendous work ethic that led him to many job opportunities throughout his life. Mina’s biggest passions in life were hunting, fishing, and spending time gardening. He will be remembered by many for his generosity, willingness to help others, and his hardworking spirit.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Roy of Enosburg Falls; his son, Stephen “Stevie” Roy of Enosburg Falls; 2 brothers, Robert Roy and his wife Rolande, and Paul Roy and his wife Joan all of Sheldon; 1 sister, Pauline Brouillette and her husband Mike of St. Albans; close friend, Norman Couture of Enosburg Falls; and many friends who will miss him dearly. Besides his parents, Mina was predeceased by a brother, Maurice Roy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 2-4:00 PM at Stonebrook at the Dairy Center, 2445 Sampsonville Road, Enosburg Falls, Vermont 05450.
