INJURED MAN FOUND ON I-89
State Police say they are investigating a suspicious incident in Milton on I-89 where a man was found on the side of the highway injured.
According to Trooper Leise of the Williston Barracks of the Vermont State Police, 20 year old Matthew Rich of Salisbury, Vermont was found on the highway on Tuesday, near mile marker 99.7.
Police don’t know how the man got there, but given his injuries, he was transported to UVM Medical Center.
Police suspect that Rich was pushed from a moving vehicle, but want your information if you know anything about the incident, which happened around 12:15 on Tuesday afternoon. Police say Rich was intoxicated at the time he was transported to the hospital but did not say what the extent of his injuries were.
