David Wayne Nicholas

ST. ALBANS/BRATTLEBORO: David Wayne Nicholas a longtime area resident and former resident of Brattleboro passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 24th, 2021. 

Born in Brattleboro on August 23rd, 1960, he was the son of Frances Josephine (Pensiby) Nicholas and the late Ralph Charles Nicholas. David was 61 years old. 

David was educated in Brattleboro and for the past several years has been a foreman with Asplundh Tree Service. He was an avid fisherman and a die-hard Patriots fan, but his greatest enjoyment was hanging out with his grandson, Brantley. 

Survivors include his mother, Frances, of Brattleboro; his children, Cody Clark of Bennington and Taylor Perry and her husband, Brandon, and their son, Brantley, of Bakersfield;  a brother, Cliff Nicholas of Brattleboro, as well as many friends in St. Albans and Brattleboro. 

A celebration of David’s life will be planned both in St. Albans and Brattleboro at a later date.
