Holden Michael Staples

Burlington – Holden Michael Staples, son of Meagan Staples passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 26th, 2021, at the UVM Medical Center with Meagan, Memere, Evan and Nana at his side.

Born in St. Albans on April 27, 2020, Holden was 19 months old. Holden was an active, happy toddler, he loved playing with his cousins and all the friends he made along the way of his journey. Holden always had the most breathtaking smile, a contagious laugh and the most beautiful blue eyes.

 He loved nothing more than dancing to his favorite COCO Melon tunes and being the beautiful full of life toddler that he was. Though his life was brief, his memory lives on in his family and friends with a love that’s stronger than most ever get a chance to hold. Holden loved his stuffed Dino that he received from his great Pepere, he carried it everywhere.

He loved his mommy so much; she was his world and he was the light of her life.

Holden leaves behind his mother; Meagan Staples (Evan Whalon); grandparents; Kari Tremblay (Ian Casperson), Tim Staples, Amy Clodgoe (Justin); great grandfather; Gilbert Tremblay (Faye); great great grandmother; Armande Tremblay; aunts and uncles; Eva Watson (Willy), Patrick Staples (Brittany), Devin Staples (Shelby), Mackenzie and Surelle Casperson; great aunts and uncles; Michelle (Lee) Barnett, Suzie Tremblay (Shawn), Danielle Garrant (Ian), as well as many little cousins that loved and adored him so much.

He was predeceased by his great grandmother, Marie Tremblay.

Holden’s family will receive family and friends on Thursday December 30th, 2021 from 3:00-7:00PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, Saint Albans VT.
