Jason Hercules Medor

FAIRFIELD: Jason Hercules Medor, 42, passed away unexpectedly on August 8th, 2022, at his home with his oldest son and Roxie at his side.

He was born on June 21st, 1980, the son of Cynthia (Gaboury) Medor and the late Paul Dwayne Medor.

Jason was a graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union High School, Class of 1998; he pursued his love of automotive and attended automotive trade school in Massachusetts to become a mechanic technician. Jason had a love for four wheeling, fishing and ice fishing where he participated in the LCI summer and winter fishing derbys, his love of Mopar’s, as well as building and racing race cars and banshee. He always had a fast banshee and loved being in the garage where he grew up.

He worked as an auto mechanic at various auto shops including Bruce King Auto, Paquin Motors, Moe Freeman’s Auto, as well as a garage of his own. Although driving his 1968 Plymouth Valiant always put a smile on his face and experiencing the enjoyment of the outdoors, nothing held a candle for the love he held for his children and wife that he leaves behind.

His love for his family and friends simply could not be measured, the time and adventures he took with his children and wife will forever be cherished. He grew up and loved being on the lake and taking Roxie to the lake to swim, cooking holiday dinners with his wife and he always made his famous Mac & Cheese.

He leaves behind his wife together for 22 years and 8 years happily married, Ashley (Cucullu) Medor, their beloved children; Jason Ryan Medor, Mason Brodie Medor, Mikayla Marie Medor, his precious canine companion, Roxie; his mother, Cynthia Medor; his sisters Nicky Houle and Melissa Medor; his niece Brianna Lyford; his favorite sister-in-law, Chelsea Cucullu; his nephew and nieces Spanky, Gemma and Avy; and in-laws, Mark and Lisa Bruley Sr.

In addition to his father, Paul, Jason was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Catherine and Guilford Medor and maternal grandparents Paul and Eleanor Gaboury.

Jason’s family asks that memorial contributions for his children, be mailed to Mark Bruley Sr, 1 Wheeler Round, Swanton, Vermont 05488.
