Leon Charles “Chucky” Bushey Jr.
FAIRFIELD: Leon Charles “Chucky” Bushey Jr., 55 years old, passed away at his home unexpectedly, on February 19, 2024, after a yearlong hard fight with cancer.
Born on December 10, 1968, he was the son of Pauline (Fiske) and the late Leon Charles Bushey Sr.
Chucky spent his younger years as a farmhand in Fairfield, anyone who knew him had an understanding that he lived a private and simple life. He would enjoy puttering on small engines and being out on his three-wheelers for a cruise. He kept to himself, loved his candy, and had a good beer with his drinking buddy Dave.
Leon Jr. is survived by his mother Pauline; his sibling Lori Jean “Pumpkin” Britch and her husband David; his nephew Benjamin “Benny” Britch, his niece Erin “Peanut” Britch and her boyfriend, Jason Boudreau, and her son Brady Morits.
In addition to his father Leon Sr., who passed away on October 18, 2022, Chucky is predeceased by several aunts and uncles.
To honor Leon Jr.’s wishes, there will be no services and a private interment will take place later at the family lot in Egypt cemetery.
