FAIRFAX: Vermont State Police say they searched all day for a missing woman, but still have failed to locate her.

According to State Police Sergeant Joe Paquette, family members of Susan Gray, 58, of Fairfax called police Sunday after the family became concerned. Paquette said the woman had left the home to go for a walk nearby around 9 am.

Gray, who had recently been experiencing some health problems, failed to return, leading family members to begin to fear for her health and well being. After a few hours, they began searching for her and called the police.

Gray’s vehicle was discovered around 4 pm parked at a fishing access below the Fairfax dam, according to Paquette, but she has yet to be located.

Paquette said the woman had just recently been discharged from the hospital.

A news release sent around 11:15 pm on Sunday night indicated that Gray was still missing, and asked that anyone who might know anything, contact the St. Albans Barracks of the Vermont State Police. The number there is (802) 524-5993.
