This weekend the Opera House will once again host a stellar cast of local thespians as they perform in Lil Abner. Robert Willey will play the title role of Abner as Daisy May (played by Heather Wilson) tries to win his reluctant heart. Brent Garrow and Rebecca Anne Bennett play the roles of Pappy and Mammy who connive to lead their son in the right direction. The play, directed by Kathleen Hoffman and choreographed by Molly Hartman, runs from Thursday, July 28 through Sunday, July 31. The curtain will go up at 7:00 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and at 2:00 on Sunday. Come and enjoy.
