MILTON WOMAN PICKED UP WITH COCAINE
State police say they have arrested a 39-year-old Milton woman for possessing cocaine, both in crack and powder form.
According to a press release, Tonyel Colby was initially pulled over for a
traffic violation. Evidence led police to obtain a search warrant where they discovered 57 grams of crack and 15 grams of powdered cocaine.
The stop occurred on Interstate 89 in Middlesex.
Police said the violation that Colby was pulled over for was a “marked lane violation.”
The woman was processed and lodged at Chittenden County Correctional Center lacking $5,000 bail, police said. She is scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court on October 26th to answer to the charges.
