SHELDON FAVORS SCOTT OVER MINTER 4:1

Sheldon voters came out in big numbers to cast their votes on Tuesday. Numbers are still coming in, but for the Town of Sheldon, Brian Savage lead the State House race with 442 votes. Followed by Mariana Gamache at 389, Don Collins at 344 and Andrew Judge at 186.

The votes from Swanton must be added to find the two winners that will represent the district.

For Governor, Phil Scott picked up a big lead in the town with 617 votes. His competitor, Sue Minter picked up just 187 votes.

The Senate race is relatively close in Sheldon, incumbant Dustin Degree leads with 448 votes followed by Carolyn Branagan with 381, Sara Branon Kittell with 349, and Denise Smith with 200.
