Paul M. Loiselle
ENOSBURG FALLS – Paul M. Loiselle, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at his home in Enosburg Falls.
He was born in St. Albans on January 12, 1952, the son of the late Maurice and Lucille (Breault) Loiselle.
Paul grew up in Berkshire and Enosburgh and graduated from Enosburg Falls High School in 1970. He married Pauline (Swoyer) Loiselle on July 18, 1970 after the two met while working at Grand Union in St. Albans. The two eventually moved to Enosburg Falls into the same home Paul had lived in since the time he was 8 years old, to raise their family. In his younger years, Paul liked to go fishing and hunting with his family and friends, especially rabbit hunting. Paul and Pauline purchased a camp at Lake Carmi in 2000, which quickly became his “happy place” where he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and friends playing cards, having BBQs, boating, and fishing. He thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at the Dairy Center and he will miss Simone and Melissa who spoiled him there. Family was the center of Paul’s world; he loved attending his children’s and grandchildren’s events, and family gatherings every Sunday. Paul will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and his ability to put his family first.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pauline Loiselle of Enosburg Falls; children, Michelle Douglas and her husband Brian of Swanton, and Michael Loiselle and his wife Jennifer of Enosburg; grandchildren, Andrew Douglas and his significant other Cassy Martel of Swanton; and Hannah & Devin Loiselle of Enosburg; sisters, Diane Dennis of St. Albans, and Denise Potter and her husband Bruce of Richford; brother-in-law, Harry Swoyer and his wife Joyce of Swanton; nieces and nephews, Tina LeCours and her husband Mike Trombly of Essex, Amy Anderson of St. Albans, Noel Anderson and his wife Denise of Enosburg, Dean Potter and his wife Brenda of Bakersfield, Beth Bailey and her husband Jeff of Williamstown, Justin Rocheleau and his wife Courtney of Spring Hill, FL, Christina Chase and her husband Alexander of SC, and Robert Swoyer and his wife Casey of Highgate; special friends, Robert Archambault and his wife Betty of Berkshire; and many other family members and friends.
Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Trudy (Holzgang) Swoyer; sister -in-law, Roberta Rocheleau, and nephew, Timmy Swoyer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 2:00-5:00 PM at the Dairy Center-Stonebrook, 2445 Sampsonville Road, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450.
