VSP: MAN HELD UP GAS STATION AT GUNPOINT

HIGHGATE: Vermont State Police are looking for details in connection with a burglary at the Irving Gas Station in Highgate on December 4th.

According to Detective Sergeant Angela Baker of the Vermont State Police, a man entered the gas station at around 10:49 P.M. on December 4th, displayed a gun, and demanded money from the register.

Police responded to the area, where they reviewed video footage of the suspect, who was described as being about 5′ 3″ tall, weighing approximately 160 lbs, and wearing a gray sweatshirt with “US Polo Assn” on the front in blue and red lettering.

The man was last seen fleeing the store on foot, running east along Route 78.
