SCOTT PRIVE

ENOSBURG FALLS – Scott R. Prive, age 43, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at his home in Enosburg Falls.

He was born on April 29, 1977 to the late Richard & Shelba (Miles) Prive.

Scott was always mechanically inclined, and he had a passion for working with his hands. When he was a sophomore in high school he became a certified welder in the state of Vermont, at that time he was the youngest ever to obtain that certification. He continued welding throughout his life, most recently he was working for Green Mountain Welding & Snow Removal. Scott loved working on anything with a motor and he would often take things apart – just to see how they worked. Scott loved working and staying busy, it was his therapy, but he also enjoyed four wheeling, fishing, snowmobiling, and cook outs with his friends and family. Scott looked forward to watching movies with his daughter, Harlee, and working in the garage with his son, Keegan.

He is survived by his children, Harlee & Keegan Prive and their mother Courtney Sanville all of Jay; his sister, Nancy Bovat and her husband David of Springfield; his niece, Taylor Bovat; nephews, Dawson Bovat and Max Messier and his fiancé Abbie Holden; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his companion Samantha.

Scott was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Shelba Prive.
