Joshua Adam Ovitt-Boyer

July 20, 2021 – July 22, 2021

Joshua Adam Ovitt-Boyer passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on Tuesday, July 22, 2021, at 1:22am. Joshua entered the world early and on his own terms on July 20, 2021, 8:20am, at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces. He had a full head of hair and looked like his Daddy. His loving parents are Samantha and Adam Ovitt-Boyer of Jericho, VT. During his two short days he touched the lives of many and helped create cherished memories that will never be forgotten.

Joshua was the greatest treasure, and his life was filled with moments such as holding hands with his Mommy and Daddy, listening to songs that were sung to him, and having a nice bath to get him squeaky clean. Many loved ones were able to tell him “I Love You.” A most precious moment was when his parents read him a book, “I Love You All Ways.” There is no doubt he will forever hear the loving voices of his Mommy and Daddy.

Joshua was a fighter, and his parents are beyond proud of him for his hard-fought battle. He achieved many milestones throughout his development and in two short days. He is a miracle, a blessing, and a true warrior having fought his fight and teaching us lessons along the way. He earned his wings, and we know he will continue to guide and protect us.

Joshua is deeply loved by his mommy and daddy, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, great aunt, the mother of the boy he was named after, and many others.  These meetings and memories will be forever cherished by all our family. Joshua will always remain his parents’ precious baby and he will never be forgotten.

Samantha and Adam would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and all the staff at UVM Medical Center Children’s Hospital. They worked tirelessly and took the very best care of Joshua.

A Celebration of Life was held on August 21, 2021 at Brookside Campground for family and close friends. All other arrangements are private.

Joshua, we will forever love you all ways
