Daniel St. Francis
ST. ALBANS: Daniel St. Francis, age 69, passed away peacefully on August 05, 2021. He was born in Swanton, October 3, 1951 to Hubert and Hilda (Minkler) St. Francis. Daniel married Cindy Gagner on June 02, 1979.
Danny worked for many years as a taxi driver for Fabe’s Taxi, in numerous local stores to include his own Dan and Fran’s Variety. He then worked as a manager of the janitorial services at IBM and Champlain College. He continued as the head of the janitorial services at the Welden Theater. Danny finally retired operating online stores through eBay and others. He enjoyed his flower gardens, baking, fishing, going to flea markets, making and fixing jewelry, and collecting and selling antiques. He was known for not having a farm stand that he wouldn’t pass by. He was very proud to raise money for many charities in our community. Danny will be best remembered by his many friends in our community, for his love of having a good laugh and putting smiles on people’s faces.
Danny is survived by three children, Tosha St. Francis of Saint Albans, Jonathan St. Francis of Newport, and Shannon St. Francis of Orleans; four grandchildren, Shylese Dunn, Dominic Falcon, Noah Falcon, and Angel “AJ” Falcon Jr. all of Saint Albans; eight siblings, Hubert St. Francis Jr. (Sandy), Deborah Mooney, Lorenzo St. Francis all of Swanton, VT, Jimmy St. Francis (Candy), Robin St. Francis of St. Albans, Terry St. Francis (Cindy) of St. Johnsbury, Tommy St. Francis (Deborah) of Swanton, and Tina Brace (James) of St. Albans; and his soulmate, Cindy St. Francis of St. Albans, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and sisters-in-law.
He is preceded in death by five siblings, Richard St. Francis, Paul St. Francis, Ronnie St. Francis, Robert St. Francis, and Patsy Corwell.
A Remembrance Gathering and Interment was be held at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, on August 10, 2021, from 6-8 pm.
