Angela M. Elliott
HIGHGATE– Angela M. Elliott, age 55, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 11, 2022 at her home in Highgate.
She was born in St. Albans on August 14, 1966 to the late James O’Sullivan and Patricia Curry.
Angela grew up in St. Albans and graduated from BFA – St. Albans in 1984. Shortly after graduation she married the love of her life, John Elliott on July 29, 1986. The two raised their family in Swanton and were involved with all aspects of their children’s lives. She worked for Fonda Container, was a supervisor at the Duty-Free Americas in Highgate, and most recently a supervisor for Peerless Clothing for 16 years. Angela enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, attending sporting events, and family gatherings. She liked to work in her vegetable garden and flower beds, and in her younger years looked forward to attending concerts with John including, ACDC, and Mötley Crüe. Those who knew Angela knew that she was straight forward, making her the best person to get advice from. She was strong, held to her old school values, and loved fiercely.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years John Elliott of Highgate; children, Alex Elliott of Highgate, and Heidi Elliott and her fiancé Bill Sweeney of Fairfax; cherished granddaughters, Riley Elliott, and Patricia Sweeney; brothers, Michael “Todd” Curry of Albany, NY, and Shane Curry of Eagle, ID; uncle, Francis Curry of Boston, MA; many brothers and sisters-in-law; special nieces and nephews, Bobby Demar, Ian de Chantel, Kelsie de Chantel all of Albany, NY, and Holly Curry of Eagle, ID; and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Besides her parents, Angela was predeceased by her sister, Michelle de Chantel, and brothers-in-law, Leonard, Donald, and Alfred Elliott.
Family and friends are invited to Angela’s Life Celebration to include visitation on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 2 – 5:00 PM at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, VT 05448.
