Kathryn N. Dulude

ENOSBURG FALLS: Kathryn N. Dulude, age 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Brownway Residence in Enosburg Falls.

She was born in Montgomery, on April 10, 1927, to the late Elmer and Bertha (Longey) Longe.

Kathryn married Joseph Dulude on September 1, 1951 and made their home in Enosburg Falls. She was a devout Catholic and member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She had several jobs throughout her lifetime including babysitting for many of her nieces and nephews, working as a nurse in Waterbury, and her most favorite job, preparing and cooking meals at the Enosburg Elementary school where she worked for 21 years. In her younger years, Kathryn enjoyed bowling and participating in leagues with Joe, going on camping trips, and traveling to casinos to gamble with friends including Diane and Robert Parent. After her retirement in 1998, she continued keeping herself busy maintaining her immaculate home, hosting company, and cooking and baking for all family events and gatherings. Kathryn enjoyed watching the Boston Celtics, having her hair done by Doreen LaPlant, going out to eat, going for rides with Donna Vaillancourt and attending local basketball games, and looking at nature through her back window. She was strong willed, loved keeping her routine, and had the biggest heart.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families including a special niece and caregiver, Kelli & Scott Howard and their children Emma and Kase.

Besides her parents, Kathryn was predeceased by her husband Joseph Dulude; brothers, Leonard, Clifton, Floyd, and Richard Longe; sisters, Bernice Ryea, Hilda Duffy, Geraldine Newton, Marjorie Comings, and Barbara Jeffords; and a special niece, Debbie Demar.

Kathryn’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Brownway Residence, Bayada Hospice, Franklin County Home Health, Lisa Hogaboom, and neighbors and special friends Debbie & Alan Grandshaw for the special care they gave their beloved “TT”.
