Karen Richard Guyton
NC/VT: Karen Richard Guyton’s graveside service will be on June 25, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the East Franklin Church cemetery, rain or shine, located beside the East Franklin Union Church.
Karen was born on May 8, 1952, the daughter of Lloyd Richard and Madeline Benjamin Richard. She grew up in Franklin, Vermont.
Karen resided in Bladenboro, NC. She passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the age of 69.
Karen was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her friends and family. She spent her life caring for people and animals. Karen will be remembered for her artistic abilities and her kind soul.
Karen is survived by her daughter Jennifer Gibson of Bladenboro, and her sons Greg Beyor (Sandy) of Clarkton, NC, Jason Beyor (Joann) of Indiana; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; her sisters Debbie Denault (Jay) of Franklin, VT, Helen Rosenblum (Steve) of Hyde Park, VT, and Lucinda Rayman (Alex) of KY, and her brother Tommy Richard (Susan) of Franklin, VT.
Karen was predeceased by her parents, her spouse Bulon “Sankey” Guyton, and her sister Becky Uszuko.
A memorial service was held in October 2021, at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel in Elizabethtown, NC.
