Norman Donald Duprey
ST. ALBANS: Norman Donald Duprey, age 61, passed away peacefully, May 28, 2022. He was born in St. Albans on September 7, 1960, the son of Norman Ploof and Myrtle Duprey.
Norm worked for many years as a truck driver, carpenter and painter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling around St. Albans, and is fondly remembered for making people laugh. He also liked traveling to Arizona and Florida, and loved the sunsets.
Norm is survived by two children, Shayleigh Pappas (Andrew) of St. Albans and Michael Benneig (Crystal Aja) of Mooers, NY; two grandchildren, Gavin Pappas and Kalley Pappas of St.Albans; seven sisters, Diane Lafar of Swanton, Penney Malloy (William) of East Middlebury, Bonnie Garrett (Richard) of St. Albans, Sally Riopel (Amer Gover) of St. Albans Bay, Lisa McLaughlin (Michael) of Bull Head City, AZ, Debbie Bohannon, and Robin Gover (Kevin) of Swanton; uncle Armand Perrault (Anita) of St. Albans; his frenemy, Tressy Duprey of St. Albans; and friend Theresa Benneig of Mooers, NY.
He is preceased by his parents, siblings, Francis Duprey (Susan), Sandra Snide; his nephew, Cody Hale; and brothers-in-law Dick Poupart, Donald Paydon, Ted Lafar, Burt Hale, and Frank Riopel.
A Remembrance Gathering and Committal will be held Thursday, June 16th, 2022 at 1 pm, in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
As an alternative to flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the American Heart Association.
