Patricia Lorraine Knight
ST. ALBANS: Patricia Lorraine Knight a longtime area resident passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023, at the UVM Medical Center with her loving family at her side.
Born in Randolph, Vermont on September 22, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Katiebelle Dora (Salls) Burleigh. Patricia was 77 years old.
On October 22, 1972, Patricia married Leonard A. Knight Jr., who survives her.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Leonard of St. Albans; their children, David Knight, of Arcadia, Missouri, Christi Skelton and her fiancé, Robert Lumbra of St. Albans, Joseph Knight of Georgetown, Indiana, Angela Janowiecki and her husband, Mark, of Rogers, Arkansas and Leonard E. Knight and his wife, Diana, of Milton, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patricia is also survived by her siblings, Donald Burleigh and his wife, Peggy, Nancy Turner, and Edward Burleigh and his wife, Melanie, many nieces, and nephews; and special friends, Mary Britch, Esther Perron, and several other close friends.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Anne Knight on March 6, 2010, and siblings, Robert Burleigh and Diane Shedrick.
Patricia’s family will receive family and friends on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 10 -11 am at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans followed by a service at 11 am with Pastor Preston Fuller officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Fairview Cemetery in Bethel, Vermont.
