Andrew Roy Craig Sr.
SHELDON: The family of Andrew Roy Craig Sr., age 77, announces that he passed away peacefully on February 7, 2022.
He was born in Windsor, on June 5, 1944, to Joseph Craig and Ila (Bennett) St. Francis.
Andrew married Sharon Austin on October 30, 1993.
Andy worked for Dunkin Donuts as a baker, and then worked at Dunham Shoes as a truck driver. More recently he worked for Casella as a driver, and he retired as a greeter and assistant at Walmart. He was a member at the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 1090, loved to play pool, play cards at Sandy and Ballard’s, and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Andy is survived by five children, Ginger Tatro (Michael) of Brattleboro, Fay Craig of Brattleboro, Tammie Joe Craig (Kimberly) of Jeffersonville, Jason Marchand (Kelly) of Alburgh, and Allyson Marchand-Wimble (David Rollo) of Highgate; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters. He was especially close to his uncle and aunt Carlton and Bert LaFrance of Richford.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Andrew Craig Jr. and Eric Childs.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home from 4 – 6pm. Interment will take place later this spring in the East Highgate Cemetery.
As an alternative to flowers, memorials may be made in Andy’s name to the American Heart Association.
