Jessica Marie Donahue-St. Francis
ST. ALBANS: Jessica Marie Donahue-St. Francis (Rita), sadly passed away peacefully at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT on May 31st, 2023, at the age of 34. Jessica was known as Rita to many of her loved ones.
She was born on October 17th, 1988, the daughter of Richard St. Francis Sr. and Kimberly Donahue St. Francis.
Jessica attended Swanton Elementary School and MVU, then became employed in the office at Peerless Clothing where she met the love of her life, Craig Mason. She became an at-home mother to be with their children and to care for her family.
Jessica loved anything to do with paranormal and ghost hunting. She enjoyed Bingo with her family and friends, shopping, crossword puzzles and most of all, spending time with her children and family.
Jessica is survived by the loves of her life, Craig Mason, and their children Shyanne Mason and Brady Mason; her father Richard St. Francis Sr. and his wife Michelle, and her mother Kimberly Donahue St. Francis and her husband Kevin St. Francis; and her paternal grandmother Nancy St. Francis.
She is also survived by her three sisters Tamika Raymond and family, Kristy St. Francis and family, Eliza St. Francis; and two step-sisters Brooklyn (Blondie) St. Francis and Melinda Hurley her two brothers Richard St. Francis Jr. and family, and Jonathan St. Francis and family; three aunts Mary Donahue, Venessa Levick, and Darlene ‘Queenie’ Ives and her husband Uncle John; her three Uncles Tommy Donahue and Aunt Kim, Robert St. Francis Jr., and Raymond St. Francis; and special cousins Chelsea ‘Red’ Donahue and Dillon Stanhope; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jessica also leaves Craig’s father, Claude Brunelle, and his mother Jodi and her husband Travis Grisby, and Craig’s siblings Alyssa Brunelle and Brandon Brunelle.
Jessica was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Tom and Peggy Donahue, paternal grandfather Robert St. Francis Sr., her step-grandparents Ronald John & Loretta St. Francis, and her beloved brother Kevin St. Francis.
A Remembrance gathering will be held later this summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jessica’s memory can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
