Shirley M. Densmore

BAKERSFIELD: It’s with great sadness that we share the news of our mother, sister, grandma, great-grandma, great-great-grandma, and aunt who has gained her angel wings.

Shirley was born in Milton Vermont on May 6, 1929, and she peacefully passed away on August 25, 2024. Shirley was such an amazing strong woman. She will be missed dearly by those who have met her. We will all miss her being there for everyone when we needed her most. We all know how much of a card shark she was and how she enjoyed doing puzzles and her Seek and Circles.

We will always cherish these memories we have made with her and will love her forever!! Shirley made a positive impact on the entire family, they loved spending time with her, doing puzzles, and playing cards.

On April 20, 1948, Shirley married Percy A. Densmore who preceded her in death on May 1, 2003.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Lynn Densmore of Bakersfield, Sue Allen and her significant other, Steve Courville, of St. Albans, Marie Limmer and her husband, Karl, of Chatham, New Hampshire, her son, Allyn Densmore of Burlington as well as her grandchildren, Laura Smith and husband Jeff, Ty Little and wife, Molly, Kelly Raymond and husband, Kelly, Todd St. Pierre and fiancé, Kaley, Trina Crockett and significant other, Keith, Trish Allen, Holly Rodd and husband, Jason, Aaron and William Limmer, and Patrick Densmore Jr.; fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was predeceased by her son, Patrick Densmore, granddaughter, Kassidy Jade Sears; her siblings, Delma Karko, Winfred Devino, Lorraine Bedard, Iola Winegar, and Joan Jenkins.
