GEORGIA GOES TO ROSENQUIST

Caroline Bright, left, greets voters at the entrance to the Georgia Elementary School around 6pm on Tuesday.

With 61% of the vote, Carl Rosenquist will take over as the House Rep for Georgia. He had been up against Caroline Bright, she picked up 35.08%.

The Franklin-1 seat is being vacated by Carolyn Branagan who has served in the house for several terms.

Branagan is likely one of the two winners of the Senate race. With 12 out of 15 races tabulated she has a 1,200 vote lead over Sara Branon Kittell, the next closest competitor.
