Incumbent Republican Larry Fiske has lost to his rival Cindy weed by about 15 points after a huge difference in Montgomery.

We had earlier reported that Enosburgh went to Fiske by 134 votes, but lost in Montgomery by 149.

In Enosburgh Fiske pulled in 671 to 537 over Weed. 388 Montgomery voters choose Weed and Fiske earned just 239.

This year was a rematch of the 2014 race between the two.

The vote tally is certainly within the margin of the loser being able to ask for a recount.
