Janice D. Longe

ENOSBURG FALLS – Janice D. Longe Marston, age 91, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at her home in Enosburg Falls.

She was born in Montgomery on April 24, 1926, to the late Donald & Lillian (Greene) Garrow.

Janice is a former resident of Sheldon and Barton. She was a hard-working mother, farmer, and housekeeper for many years. In her younger years, Janice enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and playing Bingo. She was the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother anyone could ask for. Recently she enjoyed trips to the casino with Ron, listening to western country music and visiting with her friends at Brownway. Janice was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Enosburg Falls.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Longe Sr. and his wife Rose of Sheldon; two grandchildren, Ron Longe Jr. of New York, NY and Jenn Regan and her husband Darrell of Sheldon; two great grandchildren, Adam Regan and his wife Tiffany of Sheldon and Hayley Regan of New York, NY; two great great grandchildren, Addison & Rylee; her step-daughter, Sandy Wilson and her children Tyler, Shawn & Brian and their families; sisters, Guyneth Hauter of Katy, TX and Helen Ashton of St. Albans; brother-in-law, Richard Longe of Sheldon; sister-in-law, Kathryn Dulude of Enosburg Falls; special nephew, Gordon Garrow and his wife Rita; beloved friends, Linda Epply, Bonnie Goodhue & Carol Jackson; several close friends from Brownway including Arlene Ploof and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Janice was predeceased by her first husband, Clifton Longe Sr.; second husband, Richard Marston; her son, Clifton Longe Jr.; her grandson-in-law, Jerome Grant and her brothers, James & Edward Garrow.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 4-7:00 PM at Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 23, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Missisquoi St., Enosburg Falls. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
