WOMAN GAVE FALSE INFORMATION WHEN POLICE TRIED TO SERVE COURT PAPERS

RICHFORD: Vermont State Police were serving a citation to Bridget Combs on Tuesday for DUI-drugs, a case that originated out of Milton, but when police approached her home on Eastern Avenue in Richford, she claimed to be another person.

According to Trooper Charlotte Hartman, Combs left in her vehicle as soon as police arrived, but when the officers discovered they’d been lied to, additional charges were only a matter of time.

Police returned later, locating Combs back at her home, issuing her the original DUI-Drug citation, as well as a citation to appear in criminal court on January 5th.

She is expected to be charged with giving false information to a police officer, as well as violating her conditions of release and driving with a criminally suspended license.
