Robert Carleton LaBelle Sr.
MILTON: Robert Carleton LaBelle Sr., 81, passed away Monday evening, February 21, 2022 at Green Mountain Nursing Home, in Colchester.
Robert was born on October 7, 1940, in Essex, the son of Maurice Edward LaBelle and Evelyn Grace (Cross) LaBelle.
Robert was an employee of the Milton School District for many years. After his retirement, he then was employed by SSTA. During his retirement he kept busy working in his woods, sawing lumber and working in his woodshop. He enjoyed his nightly rides on the Kubota.
He is survived by his children, Penny Cameron and her husband James of Milton, Robert LaBelle Jr. and his wife Diane of Milton, and Rebecca Favreau and her husband Ivan of Georgia; his six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; his siblings William LaBelle of Milton, Elaine Cota of Milton, and Jane Germaine and her husband Ronald of Fairfax. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Maurice and Evelyn LaBelle, and his two siblings, Ruth Smith and Ronald LaBelle. He was also predeceased by his brothers-in-law Norman Smith and Joseph Cota and his sister-in-law Elsie LaBelle.
Per Mr. LaBelle’s request there will be no public services.
