Terrance Michael Longe
CHAMPLAIN, NY: Terrance Michael Longe, passed away at his home on March 16, 2022 in Champlain NY following a courageous battle with cancer diagnosed in October.
Terry was born on July 9, 1958 in St. Albans, the son of Alton and Gloria Longe. He was 63 years old. He grew up in Montgomery and was a 1977 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School.
Terry was best known as a Chef at the Thirsty Boot and the Czechoslovakian Inn (both now known as the Snow Shoe Lodge & Pub), various nursing homes in St. Albans, then Angelio’s Pizza & Grill in Champlain, NY. He was employed at the local warehouse food distributing center in Champlain.
He was well known for his skiing at Jay Peak during his more youthful years; he enjoyed fishing, he loved hunting in Montgomery with his brothers, and playing Poker and other card games.
Terry is survived by his wife of 23 years, Delores Longe. He is also survived by his daughter Angie Marshall and her husband Tim Marshall of Champlain, grandchildren Tim Marshall Jr. of Champlain, Ashley Billado of Fairfax, and adopted granddaughter Trinity Laing of Champlain. Terry leaves his siblings and their spouses Gary (Missy) Longe of Swanton, Vicky (Albert) Lombardo of Freehold, NJ, Peggy Longe of Tulsa, Ok, Nancy Longe (Alan Russell) of Highgate, Ricky (Sherree) Longe of Richford, and Tammy Longe of Grand Haven, MI; many nieces and nephews; as well as beloved pets Sandy and Amanda.
Terry will be dearly missed by his family and many friends, he will be forever in our hearts.
A gathering for family and friends will be on Saturday, March 26 at 3 pm at the home of Gary and Missy located at 4 Covey Drive in Swanton.
Services will be held at M.B. Clark Funeral Home in Champlain, NY on March 27, 2022 from 4 pm – 6 pm.
