Patrinka N. Vieta
FRANKLIN: Patrinka N. Vieta, age 64, passed away at her Franklin home on May 9, 2022, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in St. Albans on August 26, 1957, to the late Linwood Sr. and CoraBelle (Wright) Steinhour
Pat married the love of her life, Gary, on August 30, 1975.
After graduating high school, Pat worked for IBM in Essex for twelve years. Following her employment, she was a full time stay at home wife, mother, and grandmother. She was always there for her family in any way possible. Pat loved spending time with family, knitting blankets, and raising Dachshunds. She had a passion for baking and was best known for loving her family and making friends wherever she went.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Vieta and their children, Kim Vieta, Gary Vieta Jr, John Vieta and his wife Sara, and Aaron Vieta; grandchildren, Mason Vieta, Kayla Mertn, Alexis Vieta, Teagan Vieta, and Brody Vieta; her siblings, Evelyn Royce and husband Wayne, Tammy Mackenzie, and Linwood Steinhour Jr. and his wife Elissa; and many nieces, nephews; and her foster family that she considered as her own children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, MollyBea, and Cheryl, who were very special to her.
Friends and family are invited to Patrinka’s Life Celebration on Friday, May 13, 2022, to include visitation from 11am-1pm with a funeral service to follow at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton, VT. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, Lampkin Street, Highgate, VT.
