COLORADO TRUCKER FINED FOR NOTCH TRAVEL
A 49-year-old man from Denver Colorado was issued a fine for traveling in Smugglers’ Notch on August 1st after police say he tried to drive his tractor-trailer through the prohibited area of Route 108 in Cambridge.
Ramiro Suarez Cadena got his truck stuck and required assistance backing his vehicle back down the Notch road to where it could be turned around resulting in traffic being blocked during that time.
The man told police he was unable to understand the English Language and therefore did not heed the signs barring tractor-trailer drivers from entering the Notch.
