Gary Paul Messier
RICHFORD: Gary Paul Messier passed away Sunday, March 19th, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer with his family by his side. He was 78 years old.
He was born on May 25th,1945 in Richford, the son of Norbert and Elizabeth (Goodman) Messier, and spent his growing up years in Richford.
Gary married the love of his life, Sandra (Cameron) on December 23rd, 1978. They moved out of state and in time, relocated back to Vermont.
Gary was a machinist for various companies over the years; he also owned and operated Messier’s Machine Shop in St. Albans for 11 years. He loved camping with the family.
He leaves his children Randy (Stephanie) of Central Village, CT., Tamara (Ray) of Windsor, MO., John (Cindy) of Swanton, Chris (Michael) of Norwood, OH; his in-laws, Vanessa Robb, Carol Dupont (Alain), Greg Coon, Rodney Cameron (Monica), Sherrilee Juaire (David), and Merry Souza (Richard). He also leaves 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Gary was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Greg; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alfred and Florence Cameron, brother and sister-in-law, Ardon and Marian Puffett, and sister-in-law, Bea Coon.

There will be no services; the family will get together at their convenience at a later date.
