MAN ACCUSED OF TWO HIT AND RUNS IN ONE DAY
Vermont State Police have charged Samuel Wunch, 32, of Jay with leaving the scene of an accident, as well as negligent operation of a motor vehicle after he allegedly caused a crash near the Belfry on Route 242 in Montgomery on Tuesday.
Vermont State Police say Wunch crashed into Kendra Aber-Ferri of Montgomery, then sped away from the scene in his White Chevrolet Tahoe.
Another hit and run crash was later reported to police in Berkshire, believed to be the same white Chevrolet Tahoe, and the same driver.
Police located Wunch at his home in Jay a few hours later, where they charged him with leaving the scene of an accident, as well as negligent operation.
He is due in court on December 14th to answer to the charges.
