Lois Laskowski
The family of Lois Laskowski, age 72, announces that she passed away peacefully, on April 26, 2022, in Saint Albans. She was born in St. Albans, on June 25, 1949, to the late Louis and Anna (Soule) Martell. Lois married Thaddeus Laskowski, August 21, 1983. He predeceased her on March 1, 2020.
Lois worked for 22 years as a Computer Specialist for the US. Department of Immigration. In her spare time, she loved to ride her motorcycle with her husband Ski, visiting the casino, spending time at her camp, gardening, and spending time with her family, her pets, and the many bird friends she had.
She is survived by four children, Shauna Clifford (Phil Page) of Newbury, VT, Stacie Peyrat of Newbury, VT, Thaddeus Laskowski Jr. of Round Rock, TX, and Brian Peyrat of Fairfax, VT; one granddaughter, Hillary Peyrat (Rasheed Sinanan); and two siblings, Steve Martell of Alburgh, VT, Mary Ann Martell-Bohannon (David Bohannon) of Alburgh, VT, a brother-in-law Greg Laskowski (Patti), and sister-in-law Fran Rochon of Ferrisburgh, VT, along with several cousins. She is also survived by her beloved Kako.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce Martell and Louis Martell, Jr.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 10:00 AM in the Laskowski Lot in St. Amadeus Cemetery in Alburgh.
