Wallace James Domina

EAST WINDSOR, CT: Wallace James Domina, 90, entered into eternal rest on September 27, 2022, at his home in East Windsor, CT, surrounded by his loving family.

On March 31, 1932, Wallace was born to the late Ernest Wallace Domina and Orcelia “Mae” (Stetson) Domina in Richford, VT.

In addition to his loving wife of 68 years, Betty Lou (Hance) Domina, Wallace is survived by his sons, Michael W. Domina of Wallingford, CT, Jeffrey A. Domina of Irving, TX; a daughter, Anne (Domina) Post of Vernon Hill, VA; sisters, Mary (Domina) Commo of Sheldon, VT, Barbara J. (Domina) Samboruk of Church Hill, TN; a brother, Orrin Domina of Benton, AK, nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

He is pre-deceased by two sons, Richard E. Domina in 1975 and Bruce C. Domina in 2017, a brother, Marshall Domina, and a sister, Kernith Tibbitts.

Wallace served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked at Hamilton Standard and retired in 1997 after more than 31 years. Wallace was also a member of Post #12 American Legion in Richford, VT, a member of Italian American Club, a Life Member at both AmVets in Enfield and Smalley Brothers VWF 6123 in Windsor Locks, as well as the Suffield Sportsman Club where he rarely missed a turkey shoot as he really enjoyed them.

Relatives and friends may join the family on Monday, October 3, 2022, from 10-11 am at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT. A Memorial service will take place at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Windsor Locks.
