Jacques Hubert Rainville
ST. ALBANS: Jacques Hubert Rainville, a lifelong area resident passed away Wednesday, April 17th, 2024, at home with his daughter, Sharlene Larrow, and her family at his side.
Born in Highgate Center, Vermont on August 21st, 1936, he was the son of the late Dollard and Irene (Loiselle). Jacques was 87 years old.
On January 1st, 1956, in Bellows Falls, Vermont, Jacques married Charlotte Proulx, who predeceased him on June 25th, 2013, following 57 years of marriage.
Jacques was educated in Highgate and went on to serve his country in the United States Army serving during the “Bay of Pigs.” He was honorably discharged at the rank of Tech Sargeant on October 8th, 1962. He was then employed at Pizzagalli Construction Company for 27 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Sharlene Larrow and her husband, Lloyd, and their children, Tyler, Makenna, and Linsey of St. Albans; his son, Gregory Rainville and his family; his sister, Claire Choiniere; several nieces and nephews; and his companion Theresa Aylward.
In addition to his parents and wife, Charlotte, Jacques was predeceased by his sister, Pauline Choiniere.
At his request, a private service will be held with interment following in Holy Cross Cemetery.
