ATV THIEF GETS 3-5 YEARS IN PRISON

ST. ALBANS: Judge Gregory Rainville sentenced Ean Fisher-Morrison to 3-5 years in prison on Tuesday for his part in an ATV theft ring that rattled Franklin County and Plattsburgh in late 2015.

Fisher-Morrison admitted his involvement in court late in 2016. Police alleged that Fisher-Morrison and three accomplices stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of ATVs, equipment, collectibles, vehicles, and cash from residents and area businesses during their crime spree.

Fisher-Morrison will need to pay some sort of restitution for his crimes, though a hearing to determine the exact restitution will come in the following months.

Fisher-Morrison will also face a sentence from New York State for his involvement in stealing ATVs and vehicles in Plattsburgh.

This 3-5 year sentence is intended to run concurrent with New York’s sentence, according to court filings. That means that if a New York Judge were to sentence him to more than 5 years in prison, the Vermont sentence is essentially moot.
